Happy New Year!

People born in the Year of the Dog possess the best traits of human nature. They have a deep sense of loyalty, are honest, and inspire other people¡¦s confidence because they know how to keep secrets. But Dog People are somewhat selfish, terribly stubborn, and eccentric. They care little for wealth, yet somehow always seem to have money. They can be cold emotionally and sometimes distant at parties. They can find fault with many things and are noted for their sharp tongues. Dog people make good leaders. They are compatible with those born in the Years of the Horse, Tiger, and Rabbit.

Time flies when you're having fun!

Gosh, I thought I'd be posting at least once a week, but the time has flown by!

I've been busy with the distriction convention. Just attended another meeting last night. On New Year's Eve, Emil went to the post office for me and mailed out 93 packets with applications and flyers for me. We had 500 application forms printed and I printed 1100 flyers. What's left will be passed on and they can worry about it! LOL! I still have many flyers to print (haven't counted how many yet) but they won't go out until the end of next month.

Did I mention I've surpassed the capacity of my nano already? I was updating it the other day and I got an "you're out of room!" message. Hmmm. Maybe I should consider a larger ipod, like the 60GB! I love to put it on shuffle songs and I never hear the same song twice, unless I forget and start the process all over.

Did another layout (for a challenge). The journaling read: ~ Santuary ~ My favorite spots in the house, the office and my scrap areas. In the office, our desks face each other; our monitors are almost back-to-back. My honey's helping me print and cut pictures for the club album while watching a DVD. The pad on my desk is full of notes and I love my toys and kick-knacks. The scrap area is pretty full, as you can see, with just enough space to work on.

Weekend update

Well, I thought since I haven't posted in a good week, I'd better!

On a message board, I did a challenge from Jules. Our resolutions. I racked my brain and it seems like it's easier to do a page for the club album since it's more simple than to do one for me. Anyhows, this was what I came up with. I didn't stitch it together, as when I did, it's harder to read anything on it. Sorry, it's also alittle dark.

So, anyway, in the last few weeks of December, I was madly printing out 1100 flyers and put in an order for 500 applications to be printed. The the last week of the month was spent stuffing envelopes and Emil was sweet enough to bring them all to the post office to send out for me.

Last night, we went out for dinner to a friend's and had a great time. Got an email from my dorm sis and she's been so busy. She won a contest and was asked to join the design team of the same company and has have become DTs for a few other companies. I don't know how she does it, but she's a great scrapper. I had alot of laughs with her. She's Mickey in the photo and this is us during our song competition at CKU. We won third place but got first for costume.
