Update...
Wow, it's going to be busy the next few weeks. I just looked at our schedule:
Friday (tomorrow): work
Saturday: Officer's training & orientation, then dressup for an installation dinner at night
Sunday: Concours D'Elegance in Palo Alto
Monday: work, then the Peninsula Council (dinner meeting)
Tuesday: day off but need to get the agenda ready for board meeting that evening
Wednesday: work, then the San Francisco Council (dinner meeting)
Thursday: day off!
Friday: work
Saturday: day off
Sunday to Saturday: Chicago for International Convention
Sunday: Art & Antiques Fair that we (meaning our club puts on) have every year.
Monday: back to work
Somewhere inbetween all that I have to do some housework and laundry and pack. I'm thinking of working on making some cards on the plane so need to get that together, too.
After the Monday we return, I need to finish working on our club installation. I have the programs all set up, so all I need to do is print them. I didn't want to do it now just in case of any last minute changes. The centerpieces I have pretty much figured out but need to order the head table centerpiece.
We received our new badges the other night. Kinda cool to see everything coming up for Emil.
Emil's also getting excited as the countdown to his retirement will be 99 days tomorrow. He's so busy working that it's hard to fit in the other things that needs to be done that's he's committed to do. Too bad we couldn't win the lottery! That would solve that problem!
Almost forgot. Last night at our dinner meeting, one of our members presented me with a stained glass hanging. I'll have to post it as soon as I take a picture of it. I was very surprised to get it, especially since it wasn't expected.
