Cake contest at the Peninsula Council Dinner
Back in July or so when we had our Peninsula Council installation, each president was given a cake mix package and told to come up with an innovative "break-out" cake in honor of the Council President, who happens to be a police chief.

Well, this was our cake made by our President, pictured here with the police chief. Now sure what he was doing in this picture, but I think he was trying to get a closer look of whatever was in Nancy's hand!

Anyway, fun was had by all and alot of laughs listening to what everyone had hid in their cakes. This last picture is some of the cakes that was brought in.

What a FUN idea! Those cakes look good. Did y'all actually eat them?
What a cute idea, Yvonne!! Were there things hidden in each cake? What were they? Did the police captain like them?
I was wondering the same thing Kim was....did you eat the cakes?
Hugs,
Michele
There was only one cake that was edible! The rest had all kinds of stuff inside. Some of them were quite clever explaining what was in there and it's purpose. There were so many, though, I can't remember alot of them, but the most common was the Get Out Of Jail Card from monopoly! LOL!!
