Yesterday was my cousin Lisa's wedding. It was a bit chilly but all in all a beautiful ceremony. They had it in their backyard and after the ceremony, released 2 white doves. Unfortunately, those poor doves must have been cooped up too long as they didn't fly away until much later.

My brother, the Deacon got to perform his first wedding.
Got to see some family that I don't get to see too often.
Then it was off to a Lion's function. It was the installation of the Peninsula Council and I changed tops (layered my clothes!) in the car.
And this is Nancy, our current club president and brother, Eugene.

And here's Michael (immediate past president) and wife, Roseanne, who is Nancy and Eugene's sister. The 5 of us usually go to functions together and others from our club sometimes join us.
At the dinner, the keynote speaker was David Louie, who's a newscaster on our local TV who spoke about trade in China. After the installation of officers, the club presidents had to go up to the head table and was made to wear "jail house outfits and linked together. This was for their motto "linked together and working hard for a good cause" and they were each given a cake pan with cake fixings for the next meeting in November. The person with the most imaginative cake with the theme "breaking out of jail" wins a prize. Should prove interesting!
